The St. Croix Advantage

St. Croix Corn Clinker Removal System
The patent-pending St. Croix "Clinker Removal System" eliminates the need for a complex stirring mechanism that disrupts clean burning, allowing for extended periods of continuous burning. St. Croix corn stoves allow you to remove fuel-expended clinkers without shutting the stove down.

VersaGrate Self-Cleaning Grate
All St. Croix pellet units feature a self-cleaning grate system called the VersaGrate. With just a couple of tugs on the ash dump, residual ash is dropped into the ash drawer.

Digital Stove Control Panel
The St. Croix digital control board has many features, including the easy thermostat option, convenient switching between manual and thermostat modes, touch control, power on/off, five heat settings, manual auger feed button, and SmartStat feature on pellet models.

Convenient Ash Drawers
All St. Croix units feature easily accessible front access ash drawers.

Easy to Fill Hopper
Readily accessible top-load fuel hoppers are standard across the range. The Lancaster is also available with a hopper extension.

Environmentally Friendly
St. Croix stoves burn some of the world’s most renewable fuel sources— pellets, corn, wheat, and rye. Choosing one of these fuels will often result in greatly reduced heating costs. Compare St. Croix corn stove fuel costs to conventional fuels.

Additional St. Croix corn stove features:

Optional Upgrades
St. Croix offers high quality gold or nickel upgrades along with various leg kits on specific models.

Built-in tube scraper
St. Croix stoves have a built in heat exchange cleaning system.

Stainless-steel heat exchanger
St. Croix stoves are manufactured with high-quality corrosion-resistant metals where they need them.

Large, durable ceramic glass
St. Croix is designed with the intent of allowing you to see the fire, while also radiating heat.

Corn hopper extension
St. Croix offers a hopper extension for the Lancaster model that doubles corn capacity. The standard hopper is 35 pounds, therefore the addition of a hopper extension results in 70 pounds of corn storage.

Optional pellet conversion kit
The St. Croix retrofit pellet pot allows you to burn wood pellets in your corn stove. Keep in mind that if you would like to burn pellets the majority of the time, we would recommend one of our St. Croix Pellet stoves as they are standard with an igniter and a VersaGrate system.
